Filming and Photography

In the grounds of the main house there are many opportunities for filming and photography. Many locations offer a perfect backdrop for product launches and for a wide range of settings for photo-shoots.

The enchanting half’timbered building at the bottom of the garden was built as a playhouse for the current owner. The cottage features a fully-working coal-fired range, it is wired with electricity and there is a bedroom to the first floor.

There are a number of rooms in the main house that would also work well for period dramas and would also be ideal for interior photo-shoots.

The oak-panelled Billiard Room is available for smaller corporate and charity events, including Board meetings, interviewing and informal gatherings; the room is also available interior photography and filming. The focal point of the room is the large fireplace, complete with a feature cast iron grate, which can be lit as required.

Other locations around the estate include the 50-acre fields (ideal for country shows and car rallies), the woodlands, lakes and the former kitchen that was once part of the original Sugnall Hall (overlooking the walled garden).
